What to practise at home?

Jul 30, 2014

Did you know that listening is the skill you use the most out of all of them (listening, reading, writing and speaking). Most people think that they speak more, but it’s not true! How often do you practice listening? Lots of people like to watch the TV, perhaps using English subtitles, which is great and if you have a favourite program, or you really like watching filmst, because one of the most important things about learning a language is being interested in it. But what about listening to the radio? If you do this you can practice pure listening because there are no subtitles. BBC has lots of radio programs that you can listen to online for free, try Radio 2, 4 and 6 and see what you think!
