Homestay accommodation is the perfect option for students who want to practise their English in a family environment. There is no one type of homestay family; some are families with young children, others have adult children who have left home. Single parents also offer homestay accommodation.
All the homestay families used by ICE have been carefully selected and are visited regularly by our accommodation partner in accordance with British Council regulations.
London is a diverse and multi-cultural city so our homestay hosts come from various cultural backgrounds. Some were born in Britain and others came here from other countries and now have permanent residency. If English is not their first language, we can assure you that all families will speak English to a high standard and will speak English in the home.
Homestay accommodation is organised for ICE by a partner agency.
