The London marathon will take place this Sunday (26th April). Starting at Greenwich, the route mainly follows the river Thames and finishes in Westminster. The London Marathon is one of the most famous in the world and dates back to 1981.
The event is one of the world's biggest fundraisers; since it's first year, it has raised over £500m for various charities.
