Subtitles in English

Dec 05, 2014

How much do you practice or use your English skills outside of the classroom? You should try and do it every day!! It’s really important to find something that you find interesting to do in English, it could be talking to your friends, listening to the radio, watching TV or watching a film, absolutely anything at all! Just remember, if you feel like you have to use subtitles- make sure they’re in English. If you’re not sure how to do this, look at the online television sites from the BBC and Channel 4, or buy an English DVD from the shop. If you watch it with subtitles in your first language it might be easier for you to understand – but it won’t be as good at helping you to learn English
