Vocabulary for your holiday!

Oct 07, 2014

Now it's getting very chilly here in London, you might want to go on holiday to find some more sunshine. So, here’s an important word for the people going on a holiday to celebrate the end of summer. Lot’s of students always ask me how to say ‘take the sun’ or ‘lie in the sun’, the verb that you need is ‘to sunbathe’. For example, ‘I love going to the beach on holiday because I can sunbathe all day and get a suntan’. Not if you’re English though, then you get a sunburn and look like a tomato!
