When people think of London most of the time they think about running around a very very very busy city filled with roads and traffic or being crammed onto a busy tube train. Which is why one of my favourite places is the canal, Regent’s Canal is very close to the school in Angel and you can either walk all the way down to Hackney and beyond or up to Camden and along to Paddington. If you’re going a long way you could use a Barclay's Bike to get around, but if it’s a short distance it’s best to walk with friends. There are some great canal side pubs and places to eat if you walk to the East and in general it’s a calm and relaxing place to see a different side of life in London, people living on houseboats, fishing, enjoying the peace and quiet and generally not rushing around like most Londoners do normally!
