The weather forecast isn't looking good this weekend, so if you're scared about getting wet in the rain, why not go shopping? Covent Garden is a famous and popular place with all kinds of shops, from famous high street ones to small independent and backstreet vintage shops. Go down Neal Street if you fancy a new pair of shoes and a coffee or cross the road and go to the market if you’re hungry and want to sit down on the terrace of a restaurant. There's all kinds of buskers, some amazing musicians and performers, and sometimes you can even hear opera singers downstairs in Covent Garden market. Amazingly Covent Garden used to be a poor, run-down slum area that people were scared to go to! You wouldn't be able to tell now though, it’s very popular with tourists and Londoners alike!
