English Language Workshop

Many students want to focus on a particular skill in addition to their main course to gain extra practice in a particular area of English. Our English Speaking Skills Workshop runs every Monday and our Writing Skills Workshop on Wednesdays, both 1 hour and 15 minutes long.

English Writing Skills Workshop

Improve all areas of your English writing in this 1 hour and 15 minutes, weekly skills workshop.  Students focus on spelling, punctuation, register, style & different areas of vocabulary.  Areas covered include: CVs, job application cover letters, creative writing and informal note writing.

English Conversation Workshop

Improve your English conversational fluency and spoken confidence in this 1 hour and 15 minutes, weekly workshop.  In this class, students focus on fluency, pronunciation and the common, everyday language you will hear English people speak to friends. Our Skills workshops have a maximum class size of 20 students & all other English classes, 15.Students will discuss current affairs, popular topics for debate and role-play everyday situations, for example, in this fun and lively workshop.

Levels:  CEFR A1.2 to CEFR C1.  No complete beginners (CEFR A1) or Proficiency students (CEFR C2)

Times: Low Skills (Elementary to Pre-Intermediate)

For morning PLUS! students:  12.30pm to 1.45pm Monday Speaking Wednesday Writing 

For afternoon PLUS! students:  3.45pm to 5pm Tuesday Speaking & Thursday Writing

High Skills (Intermediate to Advanced): 

12.30 to 1.45pm Tuesday Speaking Thursday Writing for Morning PLUS! students

3.45 to 5pm Monday Speaking & Wednesday Writing for afternoon PLUS! students

Course Information

Our courses for individual enrolments are for adults.  The minimum age is 16.  Junior courses are provided for 11 to 16 year-olds as part of group tuition packages.
